Congratulations Andrea Rose and Ki Adams for a big weekend of singing and choral music. Their international symposium The Singing Network launched in St. John’s with two spectacular choral concerts featuring Lady Cove Women’s Choir<\/a>, Newman Sound Men’s Choir<\/a>, Canadian Chamber Choir, MUN Chamber Choir, Quintessential Vocal Ensemble<\/a> and more.<\/p>\n

The Canadian Chamber Choir presented a program of beautiful Canadian selections. The spotlight was also on Eriks Esenvalds<\/a>, among the top young choral composers in the world, who was a keynote speaker and whose works were performed to hushed audiences. His CDs sold out immediately and will be back in stock at Fred’s asap!<\/p>\n

A Cameo performance by the Ennis Sisters<\/a> at the opening session gave the international guests a lovely introduction to their sweet harmonies from the Southern Shore.<\/p>\n
