\u201cCantus Vocum Chamber Choir<\/strong>\u00a0was founded in 1995 by its current conductor,\u00a0Chad Stride<\/strong>. \u00a0Cantus Vocum translates as \u201cthe musical sound of voices\u201d. \u00a0This twenty voice chamber choir has quickly been recognized and praised for its musical artistry. \u00a0Members of the CVCC are auditioned on an annual basis and currently\u00a0represent\u00a0professions of law, dentistry, education, engineering and information technology. \u00a0Repertoire spans from Renaissance to the Twenty-First Century. \u00a0While the choir performs mainly classical repertoire, they also include folk, spirituals, and light popular culture slections in their programming. \u00a0To the end, Cantus Vocum is continually producing innovative programming to cover a broad spectrum or musical tastes. \u00a0Cantus Vocum is also vigilant in their programming of works by Canadian Composers.\u201d<\/p>\n
