Jazzy, bluesy and soulful with sure pop sensibilities, Janet Cull Band fill a slot until now unfilled on the St. John’s music circuit. Shades of Rita Collidge, Yvonne Elliman and Carole King echo on this finely produced debut. The combined vocals of Cull and Crystal McCarthy works nicely and the overall down tempo, easy beat playing is cohesive and solid. All of these original songs are very well crafted.
